Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
This is Jesus' invitation to discipleship in Matthew 11:28-30.

The Annual Catholic Appeal funds the majority of the work for the Diocese of Tucson.
Covering 51% of the projected Diocesan budget, the ACA provides the financial ability for over 26 ministries and charities to serve individuals and families within the communities of Southern Arizona.
As an appeal, the ACA is an opportunity for the faithful to be good stewards of the Church, live
their faith, and give back to their communities. The ACA also allows for parishes to focus on their individual communities, providing critical funding to Diocesan ministries and operations that run more successfully at the diocesan level than at the parish level.
This year's 2024 Diocesan goal of $4M helps fund:
Seminarian and Clergy Education and Support
Outreach to Poor Parishes, Missions, Community
Schools, Education & Evangelization
Diocesan Ministries/New Parish Development
Parish Support Service
St. Thomas the Apostle's goal remains the same as prior years - $230,500. Fr. Pat is hopeful the parish can wrap up its campaign by March 1. You may contribute to the 2024 campaign in several ways:
Parishioners are asked to make their pledges/donations directly to the parish even if using a pledge card received from the Catholic Foundation.
Do NOT mail the pledge/donation directly to the Diocese. Complete the pledge card; place it in the envelope provided in the mid-January parish mailing. Drop it in the collection basket during Mass OR mail it to the parish at 5151 N Valley View Rd, Tucson AZ 85718.
All subsequent payments should be mailed to the Annual Catholic Appeal at the Catholic Foundation.
For mobile/online pledges/donations, carefully select St. Thomas the Apostle (NOT St. Thomas More), so our parish is properly credited.
