All parish Bridge players (male or female) are most welcome to join the group for Contract Bridge sessions! Parishioners may play monthly or occasionally as their schedule permits.
We play 4 rounds of 5 hands and, at the end of each round, we rotate. We play as individuals, and prizes are awarded.
It is necessary to sign up each time you wish to play in order to insure that all tables are filled. A $1.00 donation is collected each month to defray the cost of prizes and snacks.

Regularly scheduled or every-now-and-then events happen at St. Thomas the Apostle. Among them are:

Bridge Marathon
October through April the Contract Bridge Marathan teams play once a month in their homes or at St. Thomas on the third Thursday or fourth Monday, at the players' mutual convenience.
Partners play 20 hands of Rubber Bridge with another couple. This includes male or female partnerships.
A $35/person entry fee includes prizes and the May luncheon at Skyline Country Club. This is a great way to get to know your fellow parisioners, have loads of fun and brush up on your bridge skills.

Coffee + Chats
Enjoy this opportunity for parishioners - both year 'round and winter visitors - to get together - as the
name suggests - for coffee and chats. At Bruegger's Bagels (Northwest corner of Swan + Sunrise) every Monday at 8:45 AM. That allows time to arrive safely from the chapel (after 8:00 AM Mass) or from wherever you're coming.
This isn't a church organization to which anyone needs to 'belong'. It's a show-up, drop-by-when-you-can gathering. Chats range from social to spiritual. Just simple fellowship with other St. Thomas parishioners.
Men and women; young(er) and old(er) and any age in between are welcome.

Embroidery Guild/Beading Group
The Tucson chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America meet in O'Leary Hall every first Thursday of the month. The beading group meets in Room 9 every second Thursday. Join us!
Group members are embroiderers and beaders interested in all techniques using a threaded needle. So, while we don't knit or crochet, you could find us exploring book binding if it is done with a threaded needle!
This non-profit organization's mission is to foster the art of needlework. Monthly programs vary. At 10:00 AM, the group socializes followed by a business meeting at 10:30. Afterwards members share their stitched creations and that month's educational program.

St. Thomas' Mahjong group meets every Wednesday from 1:30 - 4:00 PM in O’Leary Hall. Newcomers to the game are welcome! There is a one-time fee of $1.

Quilt + Toy Ministry
The Quilt & Toy Ministry usually meets beginning at 8:30 AM on the second Thursday of every month (September - May) in O'Leary Hall.
Projects include making lap quilts for elderly homebound adults and children as well as cuddly toys for children in hospitals or wherever there is a need. If you can match colors, tie a knot, cut material, iron or even make coffee, you are needed. Both men and women are welcome. NO sewing skills are required!Bring your lunch. Coffee and dessert are provided.

Each Spring, the ministry host its annual raffle. Tickets are $1/each or $5 for 6. Drawings will be after the Noon Mass.
