Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
This is Jesus' invitation to discipleship in Matthew 11:28-30.
Father Patrick M. Crino, Pastor
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,
for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Hospitality is a simple, beautiful and vital parish ministry. Hospitality ministers will find it rewarding and uplifting. Assigned to a weekend Mass you routinely attend, the role requires a welcoming attitude and smile while greeting each arriving Mass attendee.
It is an ideal ministry that family members may perform together.
Join us in the parish mission to cultivate a more welcoming atmosphere to the entire faith community of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish as well as those visiting.
Consider becoming a welcoming face and engaging personality to fellow parishioners and visitors. Savor the enriching experience.
Greeters and ushers are presently needed at all weekend Masses to greet parishioners and visitors, distribute bulletins, assist with directions to restrooms, special needs.
Holy and loving God, we are called to the mission of becoming and creating disciples. We come touched and affected by our world, some of us are harried and anxious, others are lonely and sad. Joy fills some hearts while others are heavy with grief.
Come, Jesus, come and show us the power of your love.
We gather as friends, and not-yet-friends. People drawn here with a common need: to know the affection and comfort of God and each other.
Come, Jesus, come and teach us the power of your love.
We greet one another with loving-kindness, Christ’s light glowing in our eyes. We touch each other with the gentleness that comes as we bear the burdens of the other.
Come, Jesus, come and mirror in us the power of your love.
We unite as Christians, born through baptism to be the hands and feet, the heart and soul of Jesus. We see the people sitting with us as Jesus sees them, without judgement or blame.
Come, Jesus, come and lead us with the power of your love.
We forgive the sins of the past and embrace the possibilities of the future. Each person here has a place among us. All of us belong to the family of God. We are brothers and sisters in Christ.
Come, Jesus, come and fill us with the power of your love.
