Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
This is Jesus' invitation to discipleship in Matthew 11:28-30.
Father Patrick M. Crino, Pastor
Tyler is one of three music directors at St. Thomas the Apostle. He is first and foremost the director of the Life Teen Music Ministry but currently leads music for the 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM Sunday Masses. He has also taken on the responsibility for Audio/Visual Production, facilitating parish video and live streaming needs, as well as building a new media ministry.
For eight+ years Tyler coordinated liturgy and sacred music, both contemporary and traditional, at multiple parishes in the Diocese of Phoenix. His most recent ministry was at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Mesa. He was taught and mentored by numerous Catholic music ministers including David Mares, Shannon Worle, Tim & Julie Smith and Tom Booth.
From Gilbert, AZ, Tyler has lived in Tucson for the past three years studying Personal and Family Financial Planning at the University of Arizona. He will continue his studies after graduation to obtain a Master’s degree in Education.
He is very happy to assist in the prayer, praise and worship of all who attend Mass (in-person AND virtually) at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.
